Reverse Photoaging at NLI

NLI Reverse Photoaging Are you worried about the effects of photoaging (sun damage) on your skin? Photoaging can cause deep wrinkles, loss of skin tone and elasticity. Additionally it can cause pigmentation changes. National Laser Institute Med Spa have a variety of cutting edge laser treatments that reverse photoaging effects on your skin.

What is photoaging?

Photoaging is the premature aging of the skin. It is caused by the exposure of ultraviolet radiation from the sun and/or artificial UV sources. The damaging effects of photoaging alter normal skin structures such as DNA.

The skin is affected by two different types of UV radiation waves from the sun, UVA and UVB. Once UV rays hit the skin, cells produce melanin on the surface of the skin to prevent further damage. UVB rays are the main cause of sunburn. UVA rays are responsible with the damage we associate with photoaging. UVA rays can affect deep under the surface of the skin and harm collagen fibers. As a result, the collagen fibers are damaged and abnormal elastin is produced. As a result of the increased abnormal elastin, enzymes called metalloproteinases will often malfunction when rebuilding the skin. Repeated daily exposure to UVA rays forms wrinkles. The lessened collagen levels result in a leathery appearance to the skin.

How to reverse photoaging at NLI

Halo Hybrid Fractional Laser
A Halo Laser treatment to reverse photoaging can be just the skin rejuvenation therapy you are searching for. This laser treatment has a quick healing time. In addition, it improves the tone and texture of your skin. A Halo treatment can also reduce wrinkles, fine lines, pores, and discoloration you traditionally see in sun damaged skin.

Micro Laser Peels
Micro Laser Peels work by using a laser to remove a thin layer of skin. This improves it’s texture and overall appearance. This treatment can reduce wrinkles, scars, pigmentation changes, and overall sun damage. Post-treatment, new skin cells grow and resurface over the treated area. As a result, collagen production will increase.  Thus, this improves the elasticity and texture of your skin. Additionally, Micro Laser Peels can treat areas on the chest, neck, and hands as well.

Profractional Laser for reverse photoaging
Profractional laser treatments resurface problem areas of the skin rather than the entire surface area. This laser treatment tightens skin and smooths wrinkles. Moreover, it reduces the appearance of scarring, and fixes pigmentation changes. Profractional laser treatment will give you a radiant complexion.

Photofacial
Photofacial treatment is also known as IPL, or intense pulsed light. Photofacials will target skin issues such as age spots, broken capillaries, and rosacea.

eMatrix
An eMatrix treatment will reverse photoaging by improving skin texture and tone. In addition, it improves elasticity, wrinkles, scarring, and pigmentation changes.
