National Laser Institute was first introduced to me by one of it's employees. I met Shelley C. outside of the Institute and she recommended coming to see her for my tattoo removal. I was, at the time, going to a facility in Tempe and I have to say that National Laser Institue was by FAR more professional. When you walk in, you are greeted by warm, friendly staff. The facility's check-in/waiting room area is very clean, modern design, lots of light, and comfortable. Shelley C. greets me every time with a beautiful smile and cheery disposition. Tattoo removal can be a very uncomfortable process - and Shelley does an excellent job to make sure I am comfortable before she starts the process. She works quickly and professionally but is VERY caring. I enjoy seeing Shelley at each of my appointments. I feel this is a very professional business with well trained and extremely friendly staff.
Went and saw Shelly C. for Laser tattoo removal last Wednesday. Just had to stop by and say how awesome and professional she was. Loved the positive attitude and pretty pleased with my first treatment. I was in and out within 45 min max. Very clean institute. I was nervous to come in after reading previous yelp reviews but I am glad that I did come in and check it out for myself. I can honestly say my opinion does NOT reflect what other users on yelp have witnessed. Very happy and can't wait till my second laser session to get this ugly mess off my body.

If you're looking to get a tattoo removed, this is THE place to do it. It's a beautiful facility in the North Scottsdale that feels more like a 5 Star Resort when you walk in. Staff are both friendly and knowledgable. I've been going here for almost two years now to get multiple large tattoos removed and I've always had nothing but a very positive experience. They use VERY high end equipment for tattoo removal (trust me, I've researched) and more importantly the staff knows how to use it to where I've gotten the most ink removed (per session) without any scarring whatsoever. What I appreciate most about NLI is their pricing as it's extremely affordable. They don't gouge the client's wallet like other places in the valley I've tried. There's a reason so many people go there for tattoo removal and if you haven't tried them yet, I encourage you to see for yourself why they're so appreciated by their clients. These are very good, professional, polite, and honest people running that place and they've changed my life for the better in the sense that I've had the luxury of getting rid of what I assumed were "permanent mistakes" for so long. NLI is in a league of it's own. If you haven't been there, give them a try and you'll see exactly what I mean.
Just over 3 years ago I started a huge tattoo project but before my tattooer could begin, we needed to remove some unsightly preexisting tattoos. I searched for a place to have laser treatment done and I noticed that the normal price for removal was pretty expensive.
I found the Laser Institute online and emailed them. I asked how much it was for the treatment and if they would be able to schedule me for an appointment. Their response time was quick and I had no problems scheduling. Also, their pricing was very inexpensive compared to other places. As far as the staff goes, you couldn't ask for a better service. The instructors make sure they educate you on the process before you begin. They covered the estimated amount of treatments before completion, how much discomfort you experience during the treatment and most important they educated me on proper aftercare. My instructor Shelley was absolutely amazing the entire time. I explained what we were doing and she truly fed off of my passion to reach the goal. She became a very important part of our progress. She updated me on her schedule every month and sent dates for openings directly to my email. This made things very easy for my work schedule. The other staff I interacted with were great as well. Usually I had someone different checking me in and I was always greeted professionally. Just a side note, and this is just out of observation, pretty much every woman on staff at the institute is gorgeous. haha Just like a tattoo or hair removal, it takes time to do the job safely and properly. You cannot just go in one time and expect a complete, immediate & safe removal. To prevent scaring and have limited pain, you'll have to trust the professionals and what they do best. I did just that and I couldn't be happier! I am 85% completed with the suit, my old tattoos are long gone and I made a couple friends along the way. Total win/win!! This year I am competing confidently in another Hell City convention and hopefully I will bring home a trophy. The Institute has the most advanced equipment and every single time I've been there, the staff members are extremely nice and helpful. Also, their instructor Mrs Shelley Cook has been always professional and kind, and she definitely makes you feel that you are on the hands of someone who knows what she is doing. Her knowledge of skin care treatments is advanced.
After a few sessions, my tattoo is vanishing and though the treatment itself is painful, the NLI's professionals are always there to show you support and respect. The staff is always friendly, professional, and knowledgeable and greet me with a friendly smile every time I go in. Shelley does a phenomenal job with my tattoo treatments. I have a rather large tattoo that I have been getting removed and she stops every minute to make sure I'm doing fine and not in too much pain. They have the best laser in the industry and my tattoo is almost entirely gone after only 5 treatments.This place is legit and I recommend it to everyone I know!
I have been seeing Shelley at NLI for 2 years for tattoo removal. My appointments have always been easy to make, with very few changes or cancellations. Initially, sessions were with students and Shelley spent a great deal of time explaining the process, guiding the treatment and making sure the students were doing the majority of the treatment. I am an RN with a Bachelor's degree and understand the necessity of clinical contact hours that offer exposure to real clients and situations and allow time to practice skills. After several sessions, my tattoos had faded significantly. I now meet with Shelley personally and receive the same level of professional, timely and safe services. I think NLI has the best of both worlds-excellent student teaching and affordable services.
I go to Shelley for tattoo removal and have nothing but great things to say about her and National Laser Institute. They are accomodating, professional, helpful and always greet me with a smile and positive attitude. Shelley is awesome! She makes a somewhat painful experience much more tolerable. She explains how the process works, prepares me when she's about to start "zapping" and always reminds me of the follow up care. I was nervous when I first went in, not knowing what to expect, but Shelley made me feel at ease immediately and I would recommend her to anyone who is about to embark on this process. I have attended NLI Scottsdale for the past 14 months for laser tattoo removal , i have always seen Shelley, she has done 14 treatments on me and the results are overwhelming to me , in my business its always cover em up , and off to work we go . I have had nothing but exceptional service from Shelley every time and the prices are very reasonable, i did attend a photo facial procedure with my wife there and they looked after her very well also . anyway just wanted to give my thoughts as i seen a couple of bad comments on here , but i suppose everyone is different and entitled to their own opinion.
